In the late 1990's, a movie titled "Fire In The Sky" came out based on one of the more intriguing alien abduction stories of the last few decades. This movie tells of the alien abduction of a man named Travis Walton. According to Walton, he was abducted by aliens while working as a logger and was not returned for several days. Researchers have found this alien abduction case to be one of the more believable alien abduction stories and while many have tried to debunk Travis Walton and his alien abduction reports, his story has held up. I have seen many TV shows and read many books featuring many alien abduction stories and I am inclined to believe the Travis Walton report. He has passed numerous lie detector tests and his story has remained consistent from day one. The number of alien abduction reports reached a peak in the 1990's and has since tapered off so do we surmise these reports were only a figment of the individual's imagination or were they, in fact, really happening? I have no idea but I do keep an open mind to the possibility that many alien abduction stories might be true.
