Roswell plans on creating a theme park that is based on alien abduction reports. Unfortunately, the theme parkplans are currently on hold because state officials withdrew $245,000 intended on initial planning.
The strategy to build a theme park is both eccentric, but predictable. After all, shouldn't Roswell have already capitalized on the legendary UFO crash of 1947 by now? Roswell has one of the most famous gimmicks, while naturally bringing in hundreds of thousands of visitors from around the world.
One of the many features of the theme park is an alien abduction experience. Hopefully, the creators will do their research on local alien abduction stories, famed alien abduction reports, and alien abduction pics. Perhaps, they'll even implement alien abduction art into the theme park.
There is so much Roswell can do with this theme park. It's definitely a clever idea to have simulated alien abductions. I'm sure they'll definitely have rides on space ships. It would be interesting to see an extensive educational museum and/or planetarium displaying historical alien abduction reports that can be enjoyed by alien buffs and kids alike.
Can an iconic alien replace Mickey Mouse? According to various reports, Disney has an "in" on creating the theme park. That is, if the Roswell theme park plans forge forward.
The simulated alien abductions are currently on hold. Unfortunately, for now, we'll have to rely on alien abduction reports and our imagination.
